Delete your Flock account
Last updated: October 9, 2026
This page explains how to delete your account in Flock, the shared event album app by Leroy Labs LLC, and what happens to your data when you do. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
How to delete your account
In the app (immediate):
- Open Flock and sign in.
- Go to Profile and tap Delete account.
- Tap Delete to confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
Without the app: email support@flock.pics from the email address you use to sign in to Flock, with the subject "Delete my Flock account". We'll confirm the request and delete your account within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your Flock sign-in and account.
- Your name, email address, and profile photo.
- Your device's push notification token.
- Your Find me face data: your selfie and the face templates made from it.
- Your blocks of other users, and any event bans involving you.
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase records. The date, product, amount, and app store transaction ID of any upgrade you bought, kept for seven years for accounting, tax, and refund purposes.
- Reports you made. Reports of photos or users you submitted are kept, without your name, for as long as we need them to keep Flock safe.
- Usage analytics.Records of how the app was used, which include your name and email address, are not deleted straight away. They are deleted automatically when they reach our analytics providers' retention limits.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
Hosts can delete an event, which removes its album. In upgraded events you can delete your own photos, and hosts can delete any photo. You can delete your Find me face data from Profile → Find me. To ask us to delete anything else, email support@flock.pics.
